Not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastic, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, are as follows: food waste 62.6%, paper 10.9%, rubber 11.4%, textiles (fiber) 2.1%, wood and bamboo 0.9%, ash and soil 0%, bricks, tiles, and ceramics 0.7%, glass 2%, metal 0.2%, and other 9.2%. It has a moisture content of 60.7% and higher calorific value of 5649. 64 kJ/kg, lower heating value 3757.05 kJ/kg. The carbon share from the initial waste, that is, from the biogenic source is 60.4%. The proportion of unoxidized and recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts): iron: 60.03%; aluminum: 17.81%; copper: 72.83%. The overall degradation rate of waste in 100 years: 18.73%.
