The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province are as follows: food waste 62.57%, paper 10.28%, rubber 9.84%, textile (fiber) 0.51%, wood and bamboo 7.02%, ash and soil 0.68%, bricks, tiles, ceramics 2.36%, glass 0.37%, metal 2.24%, others 4.12%. The moisture content is 66%. 28%, higher heating value 5643.45 kJ/kg, lower heating value 3721.97 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction of the initial waste, i.e., from biogenic sources, is 60.4%. The unoxidized and largely recoverable metal fraction in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%. Overall degradation rate of waste over 100 years: 18.73%.
