This dataset describes the beneficiation of magnetite ore. Magnetic separation technology is the predominant technique in the beneficiation of Chinese iron ore, particularly suitable for magnetite and vanadium-titanium magnetite. For non-magnetic or weakly magnetic ores such as hematite, limonite, and siderite, a combination of several processes including roasting, gravity separation, strong magnetic separation, and flotation is typically required to increase the output and grade of iron concentrate. The entire production process of iron ore beneficiation includes: crushing and grinding - crushing and grinding the ore to liberate the iron minerals from the gangue. Magnetic separation (optional) - using weak and strong magnetic separation equipment to separate magnetic iron minerals (such as magnetite, hematite). Flotation and Gravity Separation (optional): For non-magnetic minerals or ore with more impurities, further purification is achieved through Coal flotation or gravity separation processes. Screening and Filtration (optional): Screening controls mineral particle size, and filtration removes moisture to obtain high-grade Iron concentrate. Tailings treatment: Properly manage tailings to minimize environmental impact.
