The photovoltaic (PV) backsheet is the encapsulation material on the back of single-glass PV module; this dataset includes primary raw materials, auxiliaries, energy, atmospheric emissions, and waste from the production process. Equipment manufacturing for production use, factory building construction, and other infrastructures are not within the scope of this dataset boundary; the data inventory is formed by consolidating data from multiple sources; the manufacturing process of co-extruded PV backsheets includes plastic pellet production processes (material mixing, extrusion pelletizing, cooling, drying, and cutting procedures) and PV backsheet production processes (blending, extrusion, wiping, cutting, rewinding, and inspection procedures).
