The dataset represents the provision of 1 ton of transport service within a distance of 1 kilometer using oil and gas pipelines other than for the transport of oil and natural gas. The transport dataset refers to the entire transport lifecycle, i.e., the use of pipelines, the use of energy to drive the pipelines, and operational emissions. The pipeline is operated using electricity, and the comprehensive energy consumption for driving the pipeline refers to standards and literature related to the energy consumption of long-distance crude oil pipeline systems. The usage of pipelines is reasonably extrapolated from relevant information on the use of pipelines in Europe.
