PV junction boxes are used to connect and protect photovoltaic module, linking the power generated by solar cells with external circuits and conducting the current generated by the photovoltaic module. The weight of this PV junction box is approximately 0.22kg; this dataset includes the main raw materials, auxiliary materials, energy, atmospheric emissions, and waste from the production process. The production equipment manufacturing, building construction, and other infrastructures are not included within the boundaries of the dataset; the data inventory is formed by consolidating data from multiple sources. The production process of the PV junction box includes procedures such as material feeding, injection molding and cooling, welding, assembly, crimping, and inspection.
