The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. Not suitable to represent any single specific waste such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province are as follows: food waste 50.09%, paper 15.54%, rubber 12.63%, textiles (fibers) 2.34%, wood/bamboo 7.78%, ash/soil 0.32%, brick/tile/ceramics 1.42%, glass 0.09%, metals 0.8%, others 0%. Moisture content 64% 86%, higher heating value 5930.68 kJ/kg, lower heating value 4117.5 kJ/kg. The carbon share from the initial waste, that is, the biogenic share is 60.4%. The unoxidized and largely recoverable metal share in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%. Total degradation rate of waste over 100 years: 18.73%.
