For the component replacement services during the operation of wind power generation, one blade and 15% of generator components are assumed to be replaced for each wind turbine during its lifecycle. The distance from the port to the replacement site is the weighted average offshore distance of 82 wind farms. At this stage, the materials consumed are mainly related to generator and blades, and the energy consumption is mainly electricity used for replacements. For the decommissioning and disposal of wind turbine components, a 90% recycling rate is applied for metallic materials such as steel, iron, aluminum, and copper, and wood in the wind turbine structure (including the tower). Resins, glass fibers, plastics, and rubbers are disposed of by incineration and other materials by landfill. The technical service life of wind turbine is considered as the same as that of wind farms according to official standards, i.e., the technical service life of onshore wind farms is 20 years, and that of offshore wind farms is 25 years.
