This dataset is a market activity dataset, representing the consumption mix of natural gas in the region. The market groups producers and product imports within the same geographic area (if relevant). They also take into account the transportation (distribution) to consumers and losses in the process (if relevant). This is the natural gas market in the China region. In addition to domestic production, China also imports a large amount of natural gas from other countries. The consumption structure is calculated based on China's Customs statistical data and international natural gas production statistical information. The import and export situations and cross-sea transport are also included, and the long-distance transportation of natural gas refers to the modeling approach described by Meili et al. (2022, Section 3.4), which details the methods for modeling long-distance transportation and distribution of natural gas. The average transport distances within China are also included; in China, natural gas is primarily transported via pipelines. Data sources for reference include the \"China Transportation Yearbook\", the \"China Energy Statistics Yearbook\", the \"China Statistical Yearbook\", and the General Administration of Customs statistical data, among others.
