The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Changjiang Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province are as follows: food waste 58.42%, paper 6.44%, rubber 11.93%, textile (fiber) 0.89%, wood and bamboo 1.6%, ash and soil 0%, brick, tile and ceramics 12.92%, glass 0.53%, metal 0.68%, and other 6.47%. It has a moisture content of 55%. 81%, higher heating value 5556.5 kJ/kg, lower heating value 3706.33 kJ/kg. The carbon share from initial waste, that is, from biogenic sources is 60.4%. The proportion of unoxidized and largely recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts) is: Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%.
