Electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking primarily uses scrap steel as the main raw material, with lime, silicomanganese alloy, and other auxiliary materials. In the electric arc furnace, intense electric current is passed to melt and refine the materials. The dataset described here represents the manufacturing process of regenerated steel billets via EAF smelting, ladle furnace (LF) refining, and continuous casting. The process water is mainly utilized in equipment cooling circulation and direct cooling in rolling, with wastewater being recycled and not discharged outside. Air pollutants consist of particulates produced during the process, which after processing, are released into the atmosphere. Steel slag and iron oxide scale in solid waste can be sold as by-products, while EAF dust and waste engine oil are hazardous wastes, which are handed over to enterprises with treatment qualifications for disposal.
