The dataset represents the waste management activities of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. The recommended use of this dataset: for the average municipal/public waste mixture. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Rikaze City, Tibet Autonomous Region are as follows: food waste 57%, paper 6%, rubber 12%, textile (fiber) 7%, wooden bamboo 14%, ash soil 0%, brick tiles ceramics 3%, glass 0%, metal 1%, other 0%. Moisture content is 47%, higher calorific value of 7185.47kJ/kg, lower calorific value of 5196. 19 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction of the initial waste, i.e., 60.4% biogenic carbon. The unoxidized and mostly recoverable metal content in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): iron: 60.03%; aluminum: 17.81%; copper: 72.83%. Overall degradation rate of waste over 100 years: 18.73%. Degradability of the components forming the waste: paper: 27%; mixed cardboard: 32%. 4% plastics: 1%; laminates: 18%; laminate packaging, such as drink cartons: 18%; composite goods, like diapers: 18%; glass: 0%; textiles: 12%; minerals: 0%; natural products: 27%; compostable materials: 27%; inert metals: 10%; volatile metals: 0%; batteries: 0%; electronics: 0%; landfill gas capture and utilization produces 1.16E-04 kWh of electricity and 4.17E-01 MJ of useful heat.
