The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. The recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province are as follows: kitchen waste 55.02%, paper 5.52%, rubber 3.97%, textile (fiber) 1.65%, wood and bamboo 1.36%, ash and soil 0%, brick, tile, and ceramics 26.67%, glass 1.56%, metal 0.59%, and others 3.66%. The moisture content is 55%. 81%, higher heating value 4509.38 kJ/kg, lower heating value 2763.77 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction of initial waste, i.e., 60.4% biogenic. The unoxidized and largely recoverable metal content in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%.
