This dataset is a market activity dataset, representing the consumption mix of petroleum in the region. The market groups producers and product imports (if relevant) within the same geographic area. It also considers transport (distribution) to consumers and losses in the process (if relevant). This is the petroleum market in the China region, where the consumption structure is calculated based on Chinese customs statistics and international oil production statistics. The进口 situation and overseas transport are also included, as well as long-distance transport of petroleum, which refers to Meili et al. (2022, p.3. Section 4 describes the modeling method for transport from the extraction site to the destination port via pipeline or oil tanker. It also includes the average transport distance within China, where petroleum is mainly transported by waterway and pipeline.
