Cold rolled plate is a type of steel coil processed by cold rolling, categorized under cold rolling together with cold coils, cold plates, and cold-rolled strip steel. It is made from hot-rolled coil, which after having its oxide scale removed through pickling, undergoes cold tandem rolling. Carbon steel, also known as plain carbon steel, contains approximately 0.02%-2% carbon. The main components of carbon steel cold rolled plate are iron and carbon, where the amount of carbon determines the hardness and strength of the steel. Different carbon content allows carbon steel cold rolled plate to have different grades and properties, meeting various industrial demands.
