This is a market dataset, representing the consumption market of the region. The dataset includes transport from the gate to the point of consumption, and transport services are calculated based on the transport situation of this product in the region. The downstream products of silicon mainly include polysilicon, organic silicon, and aluminum alloys, etc., with end applications primarily in electronic devices, daily chemical products, photovoltaics, semiconductors, and other fields. This dataset encompasses material inputs, energy usage, solid waste, air emissions, and water emissions. The total emissions include direct process emissions as well as emissions embedded in raw materials and electricity. The infrastructure, including production equipment manufacturing and factory construction, is not within the boundary of the dataset. The data inventory is derived from literature and references to industry statistics, standards, and emission coefficient manuals have been used for partial data correction and supplementation. The production of metallurgical-grade silicon uses carbothermal reduction. The original method, the process flow includes batching, feeding, mine thermal furnace, casting, deheading, crushing and other processes.
