The dataset represents the waste treatment activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. The recommended use of this dataset is for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Lu'an City, Anhui Province are as follows: kitchen waste 48.33%, paper 13.08%, rubber 20.19%, textile (fiber) 3.38%, wood bamboo 3.37%, ashes and soil 4.94%, bricks, tiles and ceramics 3.25%, glass 2.66%, metal 0.82%, and others 0%. Moisture content is 52%. 89%, higher heating value 7354.97 kJ/kg, lower heating value 5444.77 kJ/kg. The carbon share from initial waste, i.e., 60.4% from biogenic sources. The ratio of unoxidized and largely recyclable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts) is: Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%.
