The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in sanitary landfills. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastic, paper, or cardboard. The characteristics of urban solid waste in Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, are as follows: kitchen waste 52.5%, paper 5.5%, rubber 6%, textile (fiber) 3%, wood and bamboo 3%, ash and soil 0%, brick and ceramic 20.5%, glass 5.5%, metal 3%, other 1.36%. Moisture content is 55.81%, higher calorific value is 4526. 97 kJ/kg, lower calorific value 2820.89 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction of the initial waste, i.e., from biological sources is 60.4%. The proportion of non-oxidized and recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts): iron: 60.03%; aluminum: 17.81%; copper: 72.83%.
