The characteristics of municipal solid waste (MSW) processed by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Sihui City, Guangdong Province, are as follows: kitchen waste 50.22%, paper 13.96%, rubber 23.06%, textile (fiber) 2.81%, wood and bamboo 4.69%, ash and soil 0%, bricks, tiles, and ceramics 2.15%, glass 2.61%, metal 0.48%, and other 0%. It has a moisture content of 54.33%, higher calorific value of 7882.95 kJ/kg, and lower calorific value of 5914. 79 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for single specific wastes such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Each kg of this waste generates 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and slag, at a quantity of 05kg, are processed for recovery of precious metals before being landfilled. Fly ash is solidified with cement at a ratio of 1:1. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is taken as 22%. During the process of waste heat supply, there is no conversion between different forms of heat and energy, so the thermal efficiency is relatively high, at an average of 64%. By combining the thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation and direct heat supply, 15% of the heat generated during the waste incineration process is used for power generation, and 56% is used for direct heating.
