The dataset represents the waste treatment activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province are as follows: kitchen waste 62.57%, paper 10.28%, rubber 9.84%, textile (fiber) 0.51%, wood and bamboo 7.02%, ash and soil 0.68%, bricks, tiles and ceramics 2.36%, glass 0.37%, metal 2.24%, other 4.12%. Moisture content 66. 28%, higher heating value (HHV) 5643.45 kJ/kg, lower heating value (LHV) 3721.97 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction in the initial waste originating from biomass is 60.4%. The unoxidized and largely recoverable metal content in the waste (excluding very small or very thin parts): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%. Overall waste degradation rate over 100 years: 18.73%.
