The characteristics of the municipal solid waste (MSW) processed by the Municipal Solid Waste Incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, are as follows: food waste 30.43%, paper 15.26%, rubber 32.88%, textiles (fibers) 9.03%, wood and bamboo 6.06%, ash and soil 0.44%, bricks, tiles, and ceramics 0.75%, glass 2.07%, metal 1.85%, and others 1.23%. The moisture content is 49.12%, with higher calorific value of 9846.95 kJ/kg and lower calorific value of 7923 kJ/kg. 34 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for single specific waste materials such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please itemize the corresponding waste separately. Every kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. 05kg of fly ash and slag are subjected to precious metal recovery before landfilling, with a 1:1 ratio of fly ash to cement for solidification treatment. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%; since there is no different form of heat and energy conversion during the waste heat supply process, the thermal efficiency is relatively high, averaging 64%; through a comprehensive analysis of the waste heat power generation process and the direct heat supply process, 15% of the heat generated during waste incineration is used for power generation, 56% is used for direct heating.
