The characteristics of municipal solid waste processed by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province are as follows: food waste 27.83%, paper 26.51%, rubber 30.69%, textile (fiber) 2.81%, wood and bamboo 7.11%, ash and soil 0%, brick, tile, and ceramics 0%, glass 4.48%, metal 0.57%, and others 0%. Moisture content is 48.29%, higher calorific value of 9505.4 kJ/kg, lower calorific value of 7601. 68 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for individual specific wastes such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Each kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and furnace slag, after the recovery of precious metals, are landfilled. Fly ash is solidified with cement in a 1:1 ratio. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%; during the process of utilizing waste heat for heat supply, there is no conversion between different forms of heat and energy, thus the thermal efficiency is relatively high, at an average value of 64%; integrating the thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation and direct heat supply, 15% of the heat generated by waste incineration is used for power generation, and 56% is used for direct heating.
