This dataset describes the construction of 1m of oil and gas pipeline other than for oil and gas. These pipelines play a crucial role in the transportation and utilization of refined oil and other oil and gas products. The inventory data is formed by merging data from multiple sources and has been adjusted and updated based on the average values reported in some industry reports. The dataset includes building materials, energy consumption, laying projects, and the abandonment of pipelines but does not include the energy use, raw materials, and operational emissions during the abandonment process. Manufacturing of production equipment and facilities such as plant construction are not included within the boundaries of the dataset.
