The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for average municipal/public waste mixtures. It is not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of urban solid waste in Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province are as follows: kitchen waste 43%, paper 4.9%, rubber 15%, textile (fiber) 2.7%, wood/bamboo 2.7%, ash and soil 0%, bricks, tiles and ceramics 4.6%, glass 2.6%, metals 0.5%, and others 24%. It has a moisture content of 55.81% and higher heating value of 6171. 51 kJ/kg, lower heating value 4526.37 kJ/kg. The carbon fraction of initial waste, of which 60.4% is biogenic. The proportion of unoxidized and largely recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): iron: 60.03%; aluminum: 17.81%; copper: 72.83%. Overall degradation rate of waste over 100 years: 18.73%.
