The dataset represents the waste management activity of \"municipal solid waste\" in a sanitary landfill. Recommended use of this dataset: for the average municipal/public waste mixture. Not suitable to represent any single specific waste, such as plastics, paper, cardboard. The characteristics of municipal solid waste in Luoyang city, Henan province, are as follows: food waste 55.02%, paper 5.52%, rubber 3.97%, textile (fiber) 1.65%, wooden bamboo 1.36%, ash soil 0%, brick tiles and ceramics 26.67%, glass 1.56%, metal 0.59%, other 3.66%. Moisture content 55% 81%, higher heating value 4509.38 kJ/kg, lower heating value 2763.77 kJ/kg. The carbon share in the initial waste, i.e., 60.4% biogenic. The proportion of unoxidized and largely recoverable metals in the waste (excluding very small or very thin components): Iron: 60.03%; Aluminum: 17.81%; Copper: 72.83%.
