Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can be used for domestic cooking and heating as well as automotive fuel; this dataset includes the main raw materials, energy, atmospheric emissions, water emissions, waste, production equipment, and infrastructure such as plant construction within the production process boundary. However, the extraction and transportation of crude oil are not included within the boundary of the dataset; the data inventory is aggregated from multiple sources. The LPG production process comprises general petroleum treatment and refining operations, which specifically include atmospheric and vacuum distillation, catalytic reforming, catalytic cracking, delayed coking, diesel hydrotreating, gasoline adsorption desulfurization, LPG separation, methyl tertiary butyl ether production, acid gas removal, and other processes.
