The characteristics of municipal solid waste (MSW) processed by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in Henan are as follows: food waste 55.02%, paper 5.52%, rubber 3.97%, textile (fiber) 1.65%, wood and bamboo 1.36%, ash and soil 0%, bricks, tiles, and ceramics 26.67%, glass 1.56%, metals 0.59%, and other materials 8.3%. It has a moisture content of 53.37%, higher calorific value of 4986.47 kJ/kg, and lower calorific value of 3207. 36 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mix and are not suitable for single specific waste materials such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Each kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and furnace slag, after recovering precious metals, are landfilled. Fly ash is treated with cement at a ratio of 1:1 for solidification. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is taken as 22%; during the process of waste heat supply, no different forms of heat and energy conversion are performed, resulting in a higher thermal efficiency, which is averaged at 64%; comprehensively considering the thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation and direct heat supply, the heat generated from waste incineration is used 15% for power generation and 56% for direct heating.
