The characteristics of urban solid waste processed by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in the rural area of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, are as follows: food waste 32.8%, paper 3.2%, rubber 5.4%, textile (fiber) 1.3%, wooden and bamboo 0.9%, ash and soil 39.2%, brick, tile and ceramics 14.5%, glass 2.3%, metal 0.2%, and others 0.2%. The moisture content is 43.08%, the higher calorific value of 4962.51 kJ/kg, and the lower calorific value of 3416. 76 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for individual specific waste materials like plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste consists of a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. For each kg of this waste, 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and furnace slag, after precious metal recovery, are landfilled; fly ash is solidified with cement at a 1:1 ratio. The average heat efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%. During the waste heat supply process, there was no conversion between different forms of heat and energy, so the heat efficiency is relatively high, at an average of 64%. By combining the heat efficiency of the waste heat power generation process and the direct heat supply process, 15% of the heat generated during the waste incineration process is used for power generation, and 56% is used for direct heating.
