This dataset is a compilation of market activity data for magnetite ore markets within the provincial boundaries of the southwestern region of China, namely, the magnetite ore market group of the southwestern region. Transportation losses, transport vehicles, and transport infrastructure are not included in this dataset; they are included in the provincial market datasets. The southwestern region of China includes: Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Tibet. Data sources include the Yearbook of Chinas Transportation, the China Energy Statistics Yearbook, the China Statistical Yearbook, and the General Administration of Customs statistics, among others.
