The characteristics of municipal solid waste (MSW) treated by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Lüliang city, Shanxi Province, are as follows: food waste 35.46%, paper 12.74%, rubber 16.7%, textiles (fibers) 4.74%, wood and bamboo 1.41%, ash and soil 11.89%, bricks and ceramics 9.5%, glass 6.68%, metal 0.89%, and others 0%. It has a moisture content of 46.17%, higher calorific value of 6548.4 kJ/kg, and lower calorific value of 4841. 49 kJ/kg. Waste processing activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture, not suitable for single specific waste such as plastic, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Each kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and slag are processed at a ratio of 1:1 with cement for solidification after the recovery of precious metals, and then are landfilled. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%; the waste heat supply does not involve different forms of heat and energy conversion, so the thermal efficiency is relatively high, with an average value of 64%; based on the combined thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation and direct heat supply processes, 15% of the heat generated from the waste incineration is used for power generation and 56% is used for direct heating.
