The characteristics of municipal solid waste processed by the municipal solid waste incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, are as follows: food waste 46.07%, paper 26.95%, rubber 19.11%, textile (fiber) 0.75%, wood and bamboo 4.01%, ash and soil 0%, brick, tile, and ceramics 0.47%, glass 2.07%, metal 0.56%, others 0%. Moisture content is 53.69%, higher calorific value of 7932.78 kJ/kg, and lower calorific value of 5973 kJ/kg. 37 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for single specific wastes such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Every kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. Fly ash and furnace slag, after precious metal recovery, are landfilled, with a ratio of 1:1 solidification treatment with cement. The average heat efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%; during the process of waste heat supply, there are no conversions between different forms of heat and energy, hence the heat efficiency is relatively high, at 64% on average; through a combined heat efficiency of waste heat power generation and direct heat supply processes, 15% of the heat generated during waste incineration is used for power generation, and 56% is used for direct heating.
