The coal resources in Heilongjiang are mainly distributed in the Jixi coalfield, Bolijiang coalfield, Shuangyashan coalfield, and Hegang coalfield. The coal grades are comprehensive, including gaseous coal, fat coal, coking coal, lean coal, poor coal, anthracite, long-flame coal, and lignite. Among them, coking coal and blended coking coal account for more than half, with excellent coal quality. The coal quality composition is ash content of 17~27%, volatile matter of 20~36%, total sulfur of 0.29~0.76%, carbon content of 56.76~89.56%, and Qnet, ar net calorific value on the as-received basis is 8253~8643 kcal/kg.
