Coking refers to the technical process of separating and transforming substances such as low volatile matter, high volatile matter, and fixed carbon in coking coal through specific heating, destructive distillation, and cooling processes. The coking process is one of the essential production processes in the iron and steel industry. Coke obtained from high-temperature coking can be used as raw material or fuel in blast furnace smelting, casting, chemical production, and other processes. The destructive distillation gas obtained from the coking process can be recovered and refined to serve as raw material for the production of synthetic fibers, pharmaceuticals, fuel, and more.
