Silicon aluminum alloy is mainly used as alloy materials for aerospace, space technology, and portable electronic devices, and is also widely used in the automotive industry and machinery manufacturing to make parts used under sliding friction conditions; this dataset includes the main raw materials, auxiliary materials, energy, waste treatment, and direct emissions to the atmosphere and water bodies in the production process, while the production equipment manufacturing, plant construction, and other infrastructure are not included within the boundaries of the dataset; the data inventory is taken from literature and has been optimized based on the best available information for 2022. The process of producing aluminum-silicon alloy through the recycling and reuse of waste aluminum alloy includes two stages: pretreatment of waste aluminum (magnetic separation, eddy current separation, and heavy medium separation) and remelting ofregenerated aluminum (drying, remelting). Throughout the entire production process, slag produced by the smelting furnace is recycled in the converter to extract residual aluminum from the waste. Bag filters are used to collect dust throughout the production process, which is then sprayed with liquid and discharged into the air.
