This dataset describes the beneficiation of hematite ore. Magnetic separation is the main technique used in iron ore beneficiation in China, particularly suitable for magnetite and vanadium-titanomagnetite ores. For non-magnetic or weakly magnetic ores such as Hematite ore, limonite, and siderite, it is usually necessary to combine multiple processes such as roasting, gravity separation, strong magnetic separation, and flotation to improve the yield and grade of iron concentrate. The entire production process of coal preparation of iron ore includes crushing and grinding: crushing and grinding the ore to liberate the iron minerals from the gangue. Magnetic separation (optional): using weak and strong magnetic separation equipment to separate magnetic iron minerals (such as magnetite, Hematite ore). Flotation and Gravity Separation (optional): for non-magnetic minerals or ores with more impurities, further purification is achieved through coal flotation or gravity separation processes. Screening and Filtration (optional): screening controls mineral particle size, filtration removes moisture to obtain high-grade Iron concentrate. Tailings Treatment: proper management of tailings to reduce environmental impact.
