Retired ternary lithium batteries come from electric bicycles, electric vehicles, electric equipment, and tools. The disassembled power batteries that cannot be reassembled after testing are recycled as resources. The method for the resource recycling of retired ternary lithium batteries in this dataset is a directional recycling process, which involves dismantling, drying and pyrolysis, crushing and mechanical sorting, acid leaching, copper removal, iron and aluminum removal, rough extraction, fine extraction, and alkali aging to obtain ternary precursors. This method achieves a comprehensive recovery rate of 98.5% for nickel, cobalt, and manganese.
