This dataset represents the life cycle inventory (from cradle to gate) of coal mining activities starting from the extraction of coal embedded in rock to the loading of raw coal. It includes all activities related to the production of raw coal, but excludes the coal washing and sorting processes, as well as the production of equipment such as conveyors and mining vehicles, and the direct or indirect greenhouse gas emissions caused by personnel travel and daily office work during the coal production process. The dataset is formed based on the Cleaner production standard Coal mining and processing industry (HJ 446-2008), the Emission Standard for Pollutants from Coal Industry, the Soil Environmental Quality Standards of the Peoples Republic of China, and other national standards, through the integration of data from multiple sources. It is representative of the average production level in the East China region.
