This is a market dataset, representing the consumption market of the region. The dataset includes transport from the gate to the point of consumption, and transport services are calculated based on the transport situation of this product in the region. Nickel cobalt manganese (NCM523) oxide can be used as the cathode active material for ternary lithium-ion batteries; this dataset includes primary raw materials, auxiliary materials, energy, atmospheric emissions, and waste from the production process, but does not include infrastructure such as production equipment manufacturing and plant construction within the scope of the dataset boundary; the data inventory is formed by aggregating data from multiple sources; NCM523 oxide is produced via a multi-step calcination process where NCM523 hydroxide and lithium carbonate undergo two or three rounds of mixing and sintering in a calcination kiln, after which the resulting material is subjected to crushing, sieving, and demagnetization to obtain NCM523 oxide.
