The characteristics of municipal solid waste processed by the Municipal Solid Waste Incinerator (MSWI) in the urban area of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, are as follows: food waste 26.55%, paper 22.66%, rubber 0%, textile (fiber) 3.76%, wood and bamboo 6.21%, ash and soil 8.54%, bricks, tiles, and ceramics 0%, glass 7.02%, metals 1.75%, and others 23.49%. The moisture content is 42.02%, higher calorific value of 5356.74 kJ/kg, and lower calorific value of 3927. 13 kJ/kg. Waste treatment activities are based on an average urban/public waste mixture and are not suitable for individual specific waste such as plastics, paper, cardboard, etc. If your waste is a specific waste mixture, please inventory the corresponding waste separately. Each kg of this waste will produce 0.205 kg of slag and 0. 05kg of fly ash. The slag, after precious metal recovery, are landfilled. The fly ash and cement are solidified in a 1:1 ratio. The average thermal efficiency of waste heat power generation is 22%; during waste heat supply, there are no different forms of heat and energy conversion, so the thermal efficiency is high, taken as an average of 64%. By integrating the thermal efficiency of combined waste heat power generation and direct heat supply processes, 15% of the heat generated from waste incineration is used for power generation, and 56% is used for direct heating.
